Low Vision
At Kendall Optical Center, we also are one of the few practices in Miami that specializes in Low Vision. This is when a patient has a visual deficiency that cannot be remedied by conventional glasses, contact lenses or many times even surgery. These problems may be due to glaucoma, macular degeneration, corneal trauma or infection, retinal trauma or infection, or a host of other possibilities. The solution may involve specialty glasses, telescopes, microscopes, high powered magnifiers or electronic aids. Oftentimes, we can help improve a patient's quality of life.
